CHI304: Clinical Orthopaedics and Neurology

This unit builds on prior diagnosis units with emphasis on the development of evaluative processes to distinguish between the variety of underlying causes that may be associated with case history, physical and special examination findings. Small group/tutorial discussion and resolution of clinical presentations will emphasise orthopaedic and neurological evaluation of the patient and development of the working diagnosis. A radiology stream pertaining to osseous and articular trauma and infectious diseases of bone will be incorporated.

Prerequisites

Enrolment in BSc/BChiro and successful completion of Years 1 and 2 and CHI301 Processes in Human Disease.
