CHI302: Diagnosis and Chiropractic Skills
Concentrates on the details of the presentation, signs and symptoms, diagnosis of neuromusculoskeletal conditions associated with the spine and pelvis. Students will develop their motion palpation and biomechanical analysis, soft tissue, manipulation and mobilisation skills of the spine and pelvis. Identification of steps utilised to solve clinical problems and to develop and critically analyse investigative approaches to mechanical spine pain. Techniques of diagnosis, scientific method of critical appraisal, evidence-based approach, problem solving, and effective patient communication will be addressed.
