CHI301: Processes in Human Disease

This unit provides an understanding of the mechanisms by which disease is produced. Pathological processes include thrombosis, cardiovascular disturbances, inflammation, cell and tissue death, and diseases of abnormal DNA processing such as neoplasia and inherited conditions. The workshops illustrate the gross and microscopic appearances of these processes to help develop understanding.

Prerequisites

Enrolment in Chiropractic and successful completion of first and second year of study in Chiropractic.
