CHI210: Chiropractic History and Principles

This unit introduces students to the history of the learned professions and the chiropractic profession within the context of the 19th century health care system. The unit examines chiropractic/medical relations and factors contributing the turbulent nature thereof. It also examines various types of doctor/patient relationships including: doctor-centred care and patient-centred care.

Nil.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.

Exclusions

Students who have successfully completed CHI109 Chiropractic Skills and Principles I may not enrol in this unit for credit.
