BUS361: Microeconomics B

Review the methods used in intermediate microeconomics to analyse decision making. Students are introduced to: property rights and agency problems in business, the location decision of business and the economics of spatial networks, the modern economic analysis of market failures due to adverse selection and moral hazard. Students are equipped with an understanding of the recent exciting advances that economics has made in the analysis of decision making when information is both complete and incomplete.

Prerequisites

C261/BUS261 Microeconomics A.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.

Exclusions

Students who have successfully completed C334 Microeconomics B or C303 Economic Analysis and Policy may not enrol in this unit for credit.
