BUS290: International Financial Markets and Institutions
This unit analyses the operations of national money markets and the institutions therein. Topics: the main financial intermediaries, the role of the Reserve Bank, the determination of interest rates and the economic analysis of insurance. Other areas analysed include the superannuation industry, the share market and issues in contemporary monetary theory and policy.
