BUS250: The Economics of Global Climate Change

The 'global warming' debate is generally recognised as the most serious problem confronting the global community. An overview of climate change issues from a scientific perspective follows an analysis of economic concepts which will be used to understand how the problem has emerged, and how economic tools and policy can be used to help solve this problem. The impact of climate change is analysed across a range of human activities and natural systems, including agriculture, fisheries, forestry, and water resources.
