BUS222: Employee Relations

This unit provides an introduction to the Australian employment relations environment. Topics to be examined include the role of government, trade unions, management and employer associations, collective bargaining, industrial conflict, tribunal processes, and workplace negotiation. Theoretical perspectives are noted, and changing contexts for Australian employment relations are also discussed. This unit is part of the Human Resource Management and Management majors and minors.
