BUS169: Principles of Marketing

This unit will begin with an overview of the marketing function and its role in the economy and society generally. The marketing organisation and the planning process necessary to develop marketing information for management decisions will also be studied. In addition, the unit examines buyer behaviour patterns in order to create an effective marketing mix strategy.

Prerequisites	Nil. Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.
Exclusions	Students who have successfully completed C213/TOU213 Tourism Marketing may not enrol in this unit for credit.
