BUS102: Introductory Chinese

The unit is designed to provide students with elementary instruction in vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation in Modern Standard Chinese, Mandarin, to enable them to participate in basic everyday discourse in Chinese. By the end of the semester, students should be able to read and write about 350 characters.

Nil.

Exclusions

Students who have language competence in Chinese may not enrol in this unit for credit.
Students who have completed CHN162 Chinese 1A and/or CHN163 Chinese 1B may not enrol in this unit for credit.
