BIO308: Mariculture Production Technologies

This unit introduces the variety of mariculture (aquaculture) production technologies and methods for fish, crustaceans, molluscs and algae. Details covered include culture methods, life cycles, nutrition, breeding, processing, markets and environmental issues. Project work within the laboratory sessions complements the lecture material.
