AIS301: Black, White and Green: Indigenous Sustainability

This unit engages students in contemporary issues surrounding 'Sustainability', with particular regard to global climatic and ecological changes, Indigenous community development and a growing awareness of the need to live differently in the wider Australian community. It investigates the western notion of 'development', the management of Indigenous cultural 'natural' resources, and the impacts of these on an evolving model of Indigenous community development.
