Lectopia allows you to upload one PowerPoint presentation per lecture. This can be done from within the Staff Tool.

If your lecture is in a screen capture venue and you are displaying PowerPoint slides you should not upload the PowerPoint slides in the Staff Tool.

What you can upload

Only upload PowerPoint files. Use your online unit for other documents.
Don't include animations, video or audio in your PowerPoint for Lectopia. Any slides with animation will simply not be visible and other media may jam the system.

WARNING
Please do not upload other kinds of files because the Lectopia system is unable to accommodate them.

Be patient

Upload sometimes takes a little time, depending on how busy the server is. Please be patient. If you try to upload again while the first file is still being processed, you will stall the system and technical help will be needed to rectify the problem.

Please stagger the upload of your PowerPoints.
At the beginning of semester upload only presentations for the first week or two. This will relieve pressure on the server which will be working hard at this busy time.

If your presentation contains third party copyright material then you need to indicate this. See copyright in the Staff Tool.
