Orientation
Orientation week, or O-week, is the best time to get familiar with our campus and get ready to start your life as a Murdoch student.
Orientation is held at the beginning of each semester. You’ll meet new people, join social groups and clubs, check out facilities including our on-campus gym, grab food from an array of food trucks and take part in events, music and activities all around the campus. You’ll also get a free lunch courtesy of Murdoch University and the Murdoch Guild.
During O-week, you can:
- finalise your enrolment and sign up for your classes
- go to course advice sessions for your study area
- take a tour of campus
- sign up for a student card
- join the Guild
- buy a parking permit or sign up for a public transport concession card
- register with your Overseas Student Heath Cover provider or set up a bank account if you’re an international student.
In addition to the general events, we offer a range of tailored orientation sessions for each school. If you’re not sure which school you are in, check our School pages or contact a Student Advisor.
Make sure to check the dates and RSVP for your orientation session, then download the guide below to plan your day.
