Pathway options
English
Designed to ensure you succeed in a tertiary study environment, Phoenix Academy’s Academic English Program (AEP) course will develop your confidence and competence in key study skills in an academic context. On completion of all AEP course requirements you are eligible for direct entry at either an undergraduate or postgraduate course with no IELTS test required at Murdoch University (some course exclusions may apply).
Murdoch also accepts the internet-based Phoenix English Proficiency Test (iPEPT) for direct entry into our courses for all 2021 intakes.

Foundation
The Phoenix Academy University Preparation (Certificate IV in Business) Course provides you with a bridge between previous academic studies and the academic requirements for entry to first year university, or to a Diploma of Business. If you don’t quite meet the academic entry requirements of your chosen Murdoch Bachelor degree, studying a Certificate IV in Business.
On successful completion of the program, students are eligible for direct entry to first year Business and Commerce studies at Murdoch University, or to Phoenix Academy's Diploma of Business (University Pathway) or Diploma of Business (Work Ready).
Diploma
The Phoenix Diploma of Business course enables you a direct entry pathway to second year university. On successful completion of the Diploma of Business, you can transfer to the relevant undergraduate degree program with up to a year of advanced standing (credit) at Murdoch University. Successful completion of the Diploma of Business also meets Murdoch’s English language entry conditions, which means you don’t need an IELTS result.
