Course Description

In this course you’ll develop your creative and technical skills at a professional level, covering an exciting mix of web design, digital marketing and public relations.

You'll learn how to design and develop strategies using a range of digital media including, social media, websites, mobile technology, games, video and online news media. You will explore how to communicate information and ideas using social networks, how search engines work, how to write well-designed websites and blogs and deliver targeted communication strategies.

Web Communication is an excellent option for a double major. You can combine it with any discipline to become a powerful communicator in an area you are passionate about.

When you graduate, you’ll find that qualified web communicators are in high demand, in every industry, all over the world. You could work in a range of creative production and strategic roles such as; web communications specialist, online PR and marketing consultant, SEO strategist, web-content strategist, e-commerce specialist, web producer, e-marketer, web studio account manager and social media strategist, just to name a few.
