Course Description

Success in a globalised business world depends largely on the ability of organisations to provide the most competitive products and services to satisfy international market needs and outperform competition. The overall goal is to teach students how to develop effective marketing strategies based on the market needs in a global competitive environment and to achieve sustainable outcomes for all stakeholders.

This course provides conceptual knowledge and practical skills for current and future international marketing managers.

There is a strong demand locally, nationally and internationally for well qualified people in international marketing. This course is relevant to current employees working in export-led organisations, as well as graduates of any other discipline with an interest in developing specialised skills in international marketing. It will also be relevant to people without formal qualifications but who have industry experiences, and therefore qualify for recognition of prior learning. The Graduate Certificate in International Marketing is also appropriate for people working in operational and technical jobs to upgrade their international marketing skills to gain promotion and job satisfaction.
