As part of this course, you will also have access to our off-campus teaching facility, a 203 hectare heritage listed farm property located 46 kilometres south of Perth. The Whitby Falls Farm offers you further experience in animal management as you will be accompanied by experienced clinical academics on farm and field visits to treat livestock and horses as well as accessing the cattle and sheep handling facility.
This course provides an advanced level of study in veterinary science at a high degree of specialisation in a selected area. Clinical students will gain advanced academic preparation in both clinical training and applied research supporting specialty board certification. For the non-clinical student, the degree provides the opportunity for advanced study in analytical and research skills in veterinary science. Both programs culminate the experience with the completion of a research thesis.
