This program is the only integrated Exercise Physiology qualification in Western Australia and is a unique opportunity to fill the void between acute care and long-term management of people living with health conditions. You’ll learn the skills and ability to develop, implement and manage physical activity and behavioural programs for healthy clients, and clients living with a range of conditions.
Clinical Exercise Physiology is a four-year course where you’ll spend the first three years completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Movement Science and Sport and Health Science, leading into the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Physiology with an extra year of study.
You’ll gain practical experience in our purpose built, state-of-the-art facilities that include a dedicated exercise physiology laboratory, rehabilitation and strength and conditioning laboratory, and a performance laboratory complete with a 3D motion capture system and a 50 metre running track.
When you graduate, you’ll qualify as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP). You can pursue a career in a healthcare or hospital setting, or within the sports industry as a rehabilitation specialist.
