All organisations rely on information systems. In this course you’ll learn how information is generated, communicated, stored and applied to a range of business activities. You’ll learn the skills and knowledge needed to apply technical solutions to business problems with an understanding of information systems design, management and development.
You will develop a broad range of professional, problem solving and personal skills that are widely sought by employers. You’ll find many career opportunities anywhere in the world in the IT industry or you could pursue further studies or a research career.
To expand your expertise even further you can combine Business Information Systems with another major, such as Computer Science, Cyber Forensics and Information Security or Internetworking and Network Security.
This course is accredited at the Professional level with the Australian Computer Society (ACS). When you graduate you’ll be in high demand for a range of roles including business analyst, systems analyst, database administrator, project manager and consultant.
