(9:43, 30/06/08) Phishing Email Warning
- Please also be aware of another email going around Murdoch titled
  'Verify and Update Your Murdoch University Web-Mail Account'.
  
  Once again, just delete the email. If you know of anyone who has responded to the email, encourage them to contact the IT Service Desk.
- Please be advised that there is a new phishing spam email circulating amongst the Murdoch University community.
  
  The subject line reads UPGRADE NOW, and the email asks the receiver to reply with their email username, password, date of birth and country.
  
  This is not an official Murdoch University email and should be deleted as soon as possible. If you are unsure of its nature, please do not hesitate to contact the IT Service Desk on (08) 9360 2000 or at itservicedesk@murdoch.edu.au. If anyone queries you regarding the email, please instruct them to delete it and not to respond to it.
  
  Murdoch University passwords are confidential for each user and should never be shared with anyone. The IT Service Desk will never ask you for your password.
  
  If you have responded, you are urged to contact the IT Service Desk and request for your password to be changed immediately.
