Logistical Services
Services Provided :
- Relocate furniture items.
- Relocate equipment items e.g. computers and printers etc.
- Collect broken or damaged furniture.
- Deliver furniture as requested by the Facilities Management office.
- Set up for enrolments and examinations.
- Set up for specific University functions e.g. Murdoch Lecture, Roby Lecture etc.
- Set up tutorial rooms and lecture theatres.
- Collect confidential shredding (Must be boxed, maximum weight 16kg).
- Emergency Response Co-Ordination (333 Emergency) when requested.
- Transport special furniture for disabled students (through Equity).
General Information:
Logistical Services major duties includes the movement of equipment, furniture and items around campus.
Location : OCS Maintenance Building
Hours : 8.00 am to 4.00 pm
How to request services:
Due to the nature of their duties, Logistics staff are usually mobile around the
Campus therefore messages and work requests should be arranged through the
Facilities Management Helpdesk on 2262.
Urgent requests will be relayed via
radio to Logistics staff.
All Logistics Requests should be made by calling extension 2262 or alternatively
by email: fm.helpdesk@murdoch.edu.au.
For Rockingham and Peel Campus Requests call extension 7080 or alternatively by email: g.gorringe@murdoch.edu.au.
All requests should be made with at least 7 days notice.

| CHARGING POLICY |
| In
most cases charges will apply to services requested by clubs & commercial
enterprises such as Walters Coffee Shop, Student Guild, Student Village,
Murdoch College, Baptist College, Eurest, ACRE and any private functions.
University Divisions will be charged for services where additional staff
or equipment are required to complete the job requests. |
