Rockingham campus

At our Rockingham campus, you can learn how to build your academic skills, connect with others and learn new ways to explore ideas to help you study at university level.

Rockingham is a major urban centre which sits on the south coast of the Perth metro area. The area is famous for its dolphins and some of the most amazing aquatic and marine based natural experiences in WA.

Our Rockingham campus offers a small but strong learning community with a focus on research and our university pathway programs.

Facilities at Rockingham campus

At our Rockingham campus you’ll find a gym, café and after hours study facilities to support your studies. Online access is also available to the services and resources offered by the Geoffrey Bolton Library at the Perth Campus.

The public Rockingham Central Library is also located on our campus in Rockingham.

Begin your university journey in Rockingham

Our Rockingham campus opened in 1996 to support the south coastal communities in university education. Since 2015, our Rockingham campus has centred around our range of entry programs. These include OnTrack, OnTrack Sprint, TLC110: Learning for Tomorrow and Murdoch’s Aspirations and Pathways for University (MAP4U) program.

OnTrack

If you don’t have an ATAR or would like to study at university as a mature age student, our OnTrack program could be right for you. It’s a free 14-week program which helps you to develop your study skills and build your confidence to study at university.

OnTrack Sprint

Our OnTrack Sprint program is an intensive four-week program. It’s designed to help you improve your problem solving, research and writing skills for study at university.

You can use OnTrack Sprint as an entry pathway to study at Murdoch University if you’ve completed your WACE certificate within the previous 18 months, have an ATAR between 60 and 69.5 or have an ATAR over 70 but have not quite achieved English language competence.

TLC110 Learning for Tomorrow

If you’re in Year 12 but not an ATAR WACE student, this program can help you gain entry to Murdoch University. You’ll need to take this program over a year as part of your school studies and have English competency.
