If you're faced with an emergency situation on campus, it's important to know what you can do to keep yourself and others safe.
In a life-threatening emergency, call 000 (‘Triple Zero’) for Police, Fire or Ambulance Services. Then call our Security Services team:

Security Services will escort the ambulance on campus, help to locate the medical emergency for immediate assistance and coordinate further assistance as required.
When calling for help, please stay calm, try to think clearly and provide the following information:
- Your name and the phone number you’re calling from
- The exact location of the emergency (which building, floor, room number)
- Details of the situation (what type of emergency is it)
- The condition of anybody who is injured (e.g. conscious or unconscious)
For basic first aid advice and support during business hours (8.30am – 4.30pm), contact our medical service and ask to speak with the attending nurse.

In a life-threatening medical emergency, call Triple Zero (000) and ask for police, fire or ambulance. You’ll need to give details of the incident and your location. Don’t hang up until the operator tells you to, then call our Security Services team.
Police Assistance (non-emergency)
Call this number for if you would like help from the WA Police or would like them to attend a non-emergency (e.g. reporting a crime or burglary).
