We have a variety of study spaces to offer you at each of our locations, whether you prefer individual and quiet study or collaborative work. There are also over 200 computers located in learning common areas and laboratories around the Geoffrey Bolton Library.
At the Geoffrey Bolton Library
Silent study zone, Level 4, South Wing
For individual and silent study. Please be considerate of others when you are in this area.
Quiet study zones, Levels 1 and 2, South Wing
Ideal for individual or quiet study with a friend.
Open study zones, Levels 2 and 3 Learning Common
Best for collaborative and group work and are located in high use areas.

You can book a study room at the Geoffrey Bolton Library for group and collaborative work.
Located on Level 3 of the Geoffrey Bolton Library, the Launchpad is a space for you to connect with innovative industry leaders and collaborate with like-minded students and entrepreneurs. You can also attend industry presentations, a careers seminar, a research showcase or get access to technologies that will elevate your studies. Drop in to find out more about the Launchpad.
Study booths and desks in this area are bookable except when events are being held. Refer to the screens in the Launchpad for more information.
24 hour access
You can access the Geoffrey Bolton Library at any time using the Level 2 entrance, near the ECL courtyard. Use your Murdoch ID card to swipe in.
After hours access to the Veterinary Library is available to current Veterinary Science student and staff.
Call Security on +618 9360 6262 or use an Emergency Call Button if you feel unsafe or need a Security escort. Escorts are available to both on campus and selected off campus locations.
Postgraduate students (Masters by Research and Doctorate students) can apply for access to a study carrel at Geoffrey Bolton Library.
Access to Rooms 2.010A & 2.011 on Level 2, South Wing of the Geoffrey Bolton Library is also available.
