In order to add credit to your internet quota you must transfer credit from your University Card. By default, credit on your card is applied to Library services such as photocopying. The instructions below show you how to add credit to your University card and then transfer it to your internet quota.
Warning: Any person attempting to use other than a student University card to add quota will risk losing their money.
NB: If you already have credit on your University Card and just need to transfer it to your internet quota - go straight to Step 7.
Step 1
Check you have a valid student University card.
Step 2
Locate one of the Monitor machines in the Library at Murdoch or Rockingham campus.
Step 3
Swipe your Library card from left to right as indicated on the machine
Step 4
Feed the amount of money you wish to add as credit into the machine as shown. Note: As stated on the machine NO CHANGE IS GIVEN!
Step 5
Press the button at the left hand side to complete the transaction and print the receipt.
Step 6
Collect the receipt for your own reference.
Step 7
Locate the Internet access card reader. Library staff can assist you with this.
Step 8
Make sure "Swipe card >>" is displayed on the display. To cancel any step press "Cancel" or the "No" button, confirm any step by pressing "Enter" or the "Yes" button

Swipe your University card through the Internet access card reader in a downwards direction as shown.
Step 10
Type in your University card PIN number when requested.
Step 11
When "INTERNET ADD" is displayed press the "Yes" or "Enter" button to proceed.
Step 12
When "Enter Value" is displayed type in the amount you wish to transfer into you Internet access quota account. The value on the left is the credit currently on your card and the value on the right the amount you wish to transfer to your Internet account. (Note: If you wish to cancel the transaction or change the amount you must user the backspace key to delete the current amount shown.)
Step 12
Complete the transaction by pressing the "Yes" or "Enter" button as shown.
