Whenever an email is received through the Murdoch servers, it is scanned for viruses. If it contains a virus, the virus is deleted. If it contains an attachment with a virus in it, the virus is deleted from within the attachment.

Whenever anything is deleted by the Murdoch server, it replaces the deleted item with a text file detailing why the file was deleted (eg. it says "it was a virus"). As such, if you receive emails with attachments called "DELETED" - or with zipped attachments that are empty - it means a virus was removed.
