All users of computing facilities at Murdoch University must abide by the University's Code of Practice. The University also has some rules about what constitutes appropriate use of computing facilities by students. These include, but are not limited to:

  • You must keep your account and password secure and not share them with anyone.
  • You must not use your account or email to do anything illegal or inappropriate.
  • You must not attempt to access information to which you have no right of access.
  • You must not deliberately damage University computing facilities, hardware or software.

You should make sure you are familiar with the complete Code of Practice to ensure you do not inadvertently breach it. You can find it at: http://www.murdoch.edu.au/admin/policies/itsecurity/
