The computer laboratory and Learning Common each have 25 PCs and they are open from 8 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Peel Campus Library has 9 PCs, and they can be used during Peel Library Opening hours. Students use their Murdoch Username (Student ID number) and current password to access them. The PC’s have Papercut printing installed and funds can be added to their print quota ONLY by using the cash machine at the Learning Common Lab or via the cashier at Peel Campus Reception. Once you are logged in, you can access the Murdoch Student Network which have free Internet access to Western Australian public university sites via PARNet and sites on the WAIX network.
To access the Internet, you need to click on the Murdoch Gateway icon from the desk top. The access is also linked to your Internet Quota System. More information is available via here.
Printing credit can be added at other campuses also (Rockingham Library and South Street Learning Common)
Out-of-Hours access (5pm – 9:45pm, Monday - Friday) to the Peel Campus Computer Labs and Learning Common can be arranged (using your student card) by completing an access form available from the Reference Desk at the Learning Common in Peel 101 during attended hours.
Note: Students obtain their Student Photo ID Card (or replacement cards) at the Peel Campus Library
