Rockingham Campus

Murdoch University opened its doors to its first students at the Rockingham Campus in 1996.

The Rockingham Regional Campus is located 45 kilometres south of the Perth Central Business District within the Rockingham City Centre on a 75-hectares site. For information on how to locate and travel to the Rockingham Campus , including maps to use and details of public Transport , refer to Where Are We? .

To assist students and staff to move between the University's campuses, the Rockingham - Murdoch Campus Shuttle Bus Service runs year round with varying frequencies depending on the time of year.

The campus includes the Rockingham Regional Campus Community Library , serving the the needs of the University, TAFE and the local community.

The Rockingham Campus, along with the Peel Campus, enables Murdoch University and TAFE to provide educational opportunities for students in the Peel region, and for members of the local community to experience an integrated campus. Murdoch University and TAFE work in close partnership to provide a diverse range of qualifications, from Certificate-level to advanced research degrees across a wide range of subjects. Credit transfer arrangements enable students to transfer between the two education providers. The partnership is also building closer links with community, industry and business within the Peel region.
