is also available from home for students who have a modem and access to the University's network. The rapid growth in electronic information means that library users need to be able to retrieve and manipulate electronic texts.
The Library provides
Information Skills
training
to ensure that everyone is able to use its services effectively. In addition to its general collections of books, journals and audiovisual items, the Library provides Reserve collections of items in heavy demand. Items in Reserve must be used within the Library, or borrowed on overnight loan. The Library also maintains a
Course Materials
service.
