International Links

Murdoch University is committed to international education and has developed important links with institutions around the world, for the purposes of student exchange and academic and research collaboration. These links have contributed to an increasingly global outlook amongst its staff and students.

More than 15% of Murdoch’s students are International students, which adds to an already culturally enriched study environment for local and International students alike.

Internationally relevant degrees are a feature of the University’s degree programs. Specific areas such as Asian Studies and International Business reflect this international flavour. Murdoch also offers offshore programs, which allow students to spend two years in the country in which the program is taught, and one year at Murdoch.

The University offers a Study Abroad/Exchange Program, which allows students to spend a semester or a year studying at one of many overseas institutions as an exchange student. International students are encouraged to participate in an Exchange Program.

Our exchange partners are located in the USA, the UK, Sweden, Canada, Japan, Denmark, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Murdoch’s academic and research collaboration partners are located in Bangladesh, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Malaysia, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the USA and Vietnam. Our twinning partners are located in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Murdoch is the national host for the Australian Consortium for 'In Country' Indonesian Studies . ACICIS is an Australian consortium of 17 universities, established by Murdoch, which arranges for Australian and International students to spend a semester or more studying at a limited number of Indonesian partner universities.
