What is MyHR?
MyHR is a web based application that can be accessed any time of day, on or off campus. MyHR is for all University employees including full or part time continuous, fixed term and casual.
MyHR is easy to use and enables staff to perform such functions as:
- View / edit personal details
- View / edit diversity information
- View/edit emergency contact details
- View employment information relating to your position/s at the University
- Enquire on leave balances and leave bookings
- Apply for/approve leave bookings
- View Pattern of Hours (for part time members of staff)
- Submit/approve timesheets
- View (and if necessary) print payslips, payroll deductions and payment summaries
- View/edit bank account details

Get Started
Staff new to the University will be required to submit a Murdoch Password Request Form. Please refer to the following link for further details on this process: http://www.murdoch.edu.au/help/login/password/staff.html#newstaff

How secure is my personal information?
MyHR is deployed via a SSL (Secure Socket Layer) framework, and encrypts all transactions you make within the system. This ensures maximum privacy of your information.
What if I don’t have access to a computer?
In exceptional circumstances, where you cannot access a computer either in your immediate work area, a campus library or information common, you can make a request to receive your payslip in hardcopy. Requests should be made to your respective Employee Services Officer in Human Resources, with approval from your supervisor.
What can I expect from MyHR in the future?
What type of leave can be booked via MyHR?
Only Annual and Personal leave can be booked via MyHR. Applications for Long Service Leave should be submitted via a hard copy form.
Other types of leave such as Short Leave, Outside Studies (or sabbatical), Study Leave or Conference Travel are not recorded via MyHR as approval of these types of leave is discretionary.
