Did you know that if you are injured whilst travelling from your residence on your normal journey to work or on the return journey from work to your residence, you are not covered for benefits under the Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Act.

As a result of this reduced protection under the Act, Murdoch University has obtained an Insurance policy underwritten by Accident and Health International providing this protection which i available to all employees of Murdoch University. The total cost for 12 months cover is $23.00* payable by a once only deduction from your salary.

$23.00 is based on a premium of $16.94 inclusive of GST and Stamp Duty and $6.06 payable to McKenna Hampton as a broker administration fee.

Please note that cover is for the set period 31st May 'YYYY' to the 31st May 'YYYY'. Joining half way through this period is still $23 and the expiry date remains the 31st May 'YYYY'.
