How do I approve a leave booking via MyHR

When an employee books leave, an email is automatically generated and sent to the immediate supervisor (according to reporting lines provided to HR which are attached to a position record which in turn an employee is allocated to).
Within the email is a URL.  Click on the URL which will take you to MyHR.
Once logged in, click on Approvals, then Approve Requests.
Click on the 'Approval Status' Menu and select one of the options:

  • Approved - Select to approve the request
  • Rejected - Select to reject the request
Note: Please enter a comment in the box explaining why the booking was rejected
  • Escalated - Select to manually escalate the request to your next level supervisor for approval
    Note:
You will not be able to approve this request once it's been manually escalated
  • Deferred - Select to defer the approval of this request to a later date, then enter the reactivation date.
    Note:
If you do not action this request prior to the reactivation date the request will automatically escalate to your supervisor on this date

Click 'Update' at the bottom and wait for the green Success message.

Please Note: After 7 days a request automatically escalates to your supervisor. Refer to the date next to 'Escalation End' which is when the booking will escalate to your supervisor.
