Proxy Cache Server

A Proxy Cache Server is used at Murdoch. Students and staff who use the Murdoch University Network are advised to modify the setup of their Web browser software to point at the University's Proxy Cache Server. This will not only speed up the retrieval of resources that are frequently accessed by the Murdoch community, it will also reduce the overall cost of network traffic for the University. Between 30-40% of requests may be matched from files held in the Cache.
