Course Code: M1124
This course is designed for scientists and engineers working in extractive metallurgy who wish to update their existing qualifications, extend their knowledge in extractive metallurgy, undertake research and meet continuing professional education requirements of their professions. Advanced training in the core disciplines - mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, process control, process mineralogy, modelling, simulation and optimisation of mineral processing plants - is available through flexible unit content. Industry-based research projects are a feature of the course.
