Doctor of Education

Course Code: D1017

The Doctor of Education is an intensive course of study leading to the professional doctorate degree in Education. It consists of coursework and applied research leading to a dissertation.
The purpose of the degree is to provide advanced level study in Education at a high degree of specialisation through applied research in a selected area of practice. On entry to the EdD, each candidate will be assigned a supervisor who will assist in the development of an approved plan of study appropriate to the intended specialisation. For this course, on-campus meetings are available at the supervisor's discretion.
