Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology

Course Code: C1058

The Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology is designed to provide graduates in information technology related disciplines with a further qualification in the field. The course emphasises professional practice and effective communication using technical and nontechnical means. In addition, students select from a range of elective units according to their interests. The course may be completed over one semester full-time. Students may continue for a further semester and complete the Postgraduate Diploma in IT.

Duration:1 to 2 semesters (depending on unit selection)
Availability: Murdoch campus (internal)
Employment Prospects:Graduates of the Postgraduate Certificate in IT will be able to choose from a variety of IT-related careers, both as IT practitioners and in supervisory and administrative roles within a wide range of public and private organisations.
Special Requirements:The course is available by on-campus attendance only.
