Postgraduate Diploma in Neuromusculoskeletal Rehabilitation

Neuromusculoskeletal Rehabilitation is a rapidly growing branch of the healing concerned with the psychosocial aspects, pathogenesis, diagnosis, therapy and prophylactics of patho-physiological disturbances, patho-mechanical states, pain syndromes and neuro-physiological effects related to the muscles, fasciae and associated soft tissues of the human body. The practitioner of Neuromusculoskeletal Rehabilitation makes a significant contribution to the fields of chronic pain control and management, behavioural modification, sports injury management, personal training in health maintenance and the management of acute and chronic effects of accidents and rehabilitation.

Duration:2 years part-time
Availability: Murdoch campus (external)
Employment Prospects:Most participants in the course will already be employed in professional practice. This course will add value to the practitioner's qualifications and provide an extension of their practice into the rehabilitation area.
Special Requirements:This course is offered part-time in order to meet the needs of health care practitioners who have to maintain their professional practices. The course will be offered at times and in ways that best suit groups of students.
