Communication, Technology and Policy (BMassComm)

This major provides students with skills and expertise for work in a contemporary media industry characterised by rapid change, convergence and technological innovation. Students also learn a range of writing and professional communication skills. Units cover new media technologies, governmental cultural and media policy, and the global media industry with a focus on Asian media. As part of the Mass Communication degree, students also learn about media audiences and public opinion and they also develop qualitative and quantitative communication research skills.
