This major provides students with the knowledge base and skills for analysing and producing media texts, as well as understanding communication and cultural processes in the emerging creative industries. There is a particular emphasis on screen and sound media as well as on recent technological developments in the field. Students wishing to include media production skills (in film, TV, radio, digital media) are strongly encouraged to take a second major in Media (Screen and Sound, or Radio).
