We are proud to be the first tertiary education provider to partner with WA Cricket to benefit both our students and the community.

WA Cricket is the governing body of cricket in Western Australia, overseeing the development of the game throughout metro, rural and regional areas in the State. The organisation strives to be a leader in Australian sport, while helping achieve the national vision of cricket being Australia’s favourite sport and a sport for all Australians.

Sports science research in action

Through the partnership, our sports science research is helping WA Cricket’s elite cricketers:

  • improve their efficiency and speed when running between the wickets
  • fine-tune their batting and bowling actions
  • conserve energy
  • help players to refine their actions to avoid injury.
