Section 3.1.1.3.6 Publications (Foreign Content, Category V)

Before material that is part of a publication, such as an electronic journal, or conference proceedings or a research report, may make use of a MurdochNet Server or an Affiliated Web Server to host or provide access to Content, a member of staff who is formally associated with the publication, conference or research project, shall have applied to their respective Head of Division for permission to host such Content on a computer on the Murdoch University Network.

There may be other cases where the University agrees to host such Content when it is determined that providing a service as an Internet Content Host (ICH), and the type of material to be hosted, supports the University’s mission. Where such Content is to be hosted, the publication’s editors or the conference organisers, shall enter into a formal agreement with the University. Such agreements shall use the University’s Internet Content Hosting Service Deed and require the signature of the Vice Chancellor (or official nominee), or other member of the Senior Executive.
