Section 3 CODE OF CONDUCT

Section 3.4 Misconduct

Section 3.4.4 Inappropriate Use of Servers

Any use by an individual associated with the University of a Server that may be considered inappropriate use, as defined in Section 3.1.4.5 Use of Servers by Individuals, should be reported to the Head of Division (or their official nominee) for the organisation unit or resource area that is responsible for the computer used to run the Server. The Head of Division (or their official nominee) should investigate the reported misuse, liaise with the University’s IT Security Manager, and take such action as necessary.

Any use by an organisation unit or resource area within the University, of a Server that may be considered inappropriate use, as defined in Section 3.1.4.6 Use of Servers by Organisation Units or Resource Areas, should be reported to the Head of Division (or their official nominee) for the organisation unit or resource area that is responsible for the computer used to run the Server. The Head of Division (or their official nominee) should investigate the reported misuse, liaise with the IT Security Manager, and take such action as necessary.
