Section 3.4.3 Use of an Unapproved Alternate Domain Name
Any use by an individual, organisation unit or resource
area, of a computer on the Murdoch University Network to run a Server using an
alternate domain name that has not been:
1. Approved by teh Director, Office of Information Technology Services
2. Authorised by a Head of Division, or other member of the Senior Executive, to be used in association with a Web Server
3. Registered in the Server Registration System, and
4. Given a corresponding entry in the University’s DNS
shall be reported to the University’s IT Security Manager.
