Section 3 CODE OF CONDUCT

Section 3.4 Misconduct

Misconduct is taken to mean activities that are not in accord with this Code of Conduct. Instances of misconduct should be reported as indicated. Where further clarification is require for activities related to use of Servers, provision of Content or inclusion of Links, that might constitute misconduct, the IT Security Policy Code of Practice in the Use of Computing & Network Facilities should be referred to.

Unresolved issues should be referred to the Director, Office of Information Technology Services.

Penalties that may be imposed for misconduct by students are listed in the University Statute No. 23 – Student Discipline as disciplinary actions.

In the case of misconduct by a staff member or by a student, a formal appeals process shall be available. The appeals process is as indicated in Schedule 4 Regulations  of this Policy.
