Section 6.3 Link Revision & Relocation

Links should be maintained so that end-users are able to retrieve Content when it has been relocated to another Server. Redirection facilities should be provided on Servers to redirect end-users to revised locations for Content.

A centralised Web Server Alias Redirection Service should be implemented to facilitate access to Content when Links within University Content continue to use Web Server aliases that are no longer current.
