Section 6.2 Link Validation & Checking
Recognition should be given to the ongoing need to monitor
and maintain links created to University Content, but also to Associated and
Foreign Content.
Applications and
tools to automate the link checking process should be investigated, applied
appropriately and made available across campus to authorised Content Providers.
As appropriate, tools for link validation and checking may be associated with
indexing for the Campus Search Engine.
