Section 5.7.5 Roles With Responsibility for Content

Section 5.7.5.10 IT Security Manager

The IT Security Manager, when instructed by the Director, Office of Information Technology Services, shall be responsible for:

1. restricting access to, or modifying, or removing Content from a computer on the Murdoch University Network when that Content:

• is deemed Inappropriate Content with respect to Section 3.2.3 Inappropriate Content
• includes links to Inappropriate Content with respect to Section 3.3.4 Inappropriate Links.

This action to be taken to resolve situations where the Director has been so advised by the relevant University officers, or instructed by the Vice Chancellor, or the Director has received a Take-Down Notice from the Australian Broadcasting Authority, and has instructed a Web Liaison Officer, or a Web Administrator to modify or remove Content and the instruction has not been followed.
